Welcome to Rottweiler Zwinger ~ von der Helden Kreuz. We are proud members of the Allgemeiner Deutscher Rottweiler-Klub e.V.

Von der Helden Kreuz (English translation from German: of the Heroes Cross) exists as a humble, yet professional, Rottweiler kennel. Though, in some small way, we wish to serve as an  honorable tribute to the countless heroes of 9/11. Never forget...

Our mission is to advocate for the future well being of the Rottweiler breed. Moreover, we intend to serve the public as a reliable resource for information regarding the Rottweiler.  VDHK strives to promote this noble dog through our diligent breeding program.  We are committed to preserving “correct” temperament and conformation traits, and thus, strongly adhere to the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) breed standard.

VDHK is now located in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas! Our kennel is home to some amazing Rottweilers. Albeit a biased claim, our dogs are outstanding not because they come from authentic German & European bloodlines, but rather, due to the indisputable fact they are loyal & loving members of our family.  We enjoy participating with our dogs in German-style conformation events, as well as allowing them to train in the dog sport, VPG (also known as Schutzhund).
